Does anyone own a 10-12 cup cast iron skillet? My largest cast iron skillet is 6-8 cups. If you do have such a skillet, can I borrow it for Gobblles? I also need a box grater if anyone has one of those. I wouldn't be surprised if there was already a box grater up at the llama ranch.
Dustin and I can donate our white folding chairs and folding table to the cause. However, we will need someone else with a truck to transport them up there. Let us know if you can fit these items in your vehicle. We can also donate some very nice sleeping bags and mats. I don't know if there are actual beds for everybody or not. Mike, if you think we'll need extra sleeping bags, let me know.
We are bringing a battlemat, too. Probably not our big honking one.

A couple extra bags and pads would be great, Jana. At our current count, we have 22 gobblers. The Llama Ranch can sleep 19, that is with shared beds. The Carstens will bring a couple bags and pads for their children.
We can bring a grater box.
We can transport the chairs, as we'll be taking the Redneck Mobile, and we'll bring our Aerobed again.
Great! If you think you need the Sleeping bags before Thursday night, let me know and I will drop them off with someone who can fit them in their vehicle. Aaron, can you fit our square folding card table in your van too?
the ranch has 4 chaffing dishes and mucho kitchen ware for groups. we'll bring our mixer.
Card table! Taken care of!
Chris (the chef at McCabes) also said he'd let me borrow stuff out of his kitchen - I was thinking about picking up some half sheet pans so we can cook mass amounts of bacon in the oven.
I also need to get an idea of how many people are interested in a) drinking, and b)pitching in $$ for wine. I have one mixed case ready to go.
Dustin will likely be drinking, Jen. He typically drinks white wines anymore and we would be happy to contribute some funds. What would be fair?
Michael and I will have some wine too, we could put in $20 or so. Is anyone interested in mulling wine? We could use an inexpensive red for that.
Is anyone interested in hot toddies or butter rum?
B
I have two cases of wine, about half white and half red, plus four bottles of sparkling for mimosas. If everyone who wants to drink wine gives me $10, all should be well. Unless you want to drink a LOT, in which case $20 would be better.
If we're going to mull wine, I would suggest getting something in a box - reds at that price point usually have some sugar added, which will work well with mulling spices.
jen- the owners of the ranch had a restaurant for years and they assure me their kitchen has all we need: chafing dishes, sheet pans, kitchenaid mixer, etc...
